The Pit Log ("the App") is developed and maintained by Kevin Turner ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The Pit Log does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information to third parties.
All data you enter into the App — including vehicle information, service records, inventory items, fuel logs, and photos — is stored locally on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework.
The App may request access to your camera and photo library to allow you to add photos to your vehicles and inventory items. Photos are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to any external server.
The App may request permission to send local notifications and access your calendar to set service reminders. These reminders are generated entirely on your device. No calendar or notification data is shared with us or any third party.
The Pit Log does not use any third-party analytics services. We do not display advertisements. We do not track your usage of the App.
The App includes an export feature that generates a .xlsx file of your data. This file is created locally on your device. You choose where to send or save it. We do not receive or store any exported data.
The Pit Log is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version within the App and on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
