Frequently Asked Questions

Go to Settings → Export Data to generate an XLSX file of all your vehicles, records, and inventory. Save it somewhere safe like iCloud Drive or Google Drive. We recommend doing this regularly.

Yes! Export your data from one device via Settings → Export Data, then import it on your other device via Settings → Import Data.

Export your data, fill in the Cabinet sheet in the XLSX file, then import it back via Settings → Import Data.

Major updates occasionally require a fresh install. Always export your data regularly via Settings → Export Data as a backup before updating.

Try re-adding the photo by tapping the three-dot menu on the vehicle photo. Make sure photo library permissions are enabled in Settings → Privacy → Photos.

Long press on any record or fuel log card to reveal the Delete option.

1Adding Your First Vehicle

  • 1From the home screen, tap the Garage icon
  • 2Tap the + button in the top right corner
  • 3Enter your vehicle's year, make, model, and an optional nickname
  • 4Select the engine type — Gas, Electric, or Hybrid
  • 5Optionally add a photo and license plate number
  • 6Tap Save — your vehicle is ready to go

2Logging a Service Record

  • 1Tap a vehicle in your Garage to open its detail page
  • 2Tap the blue + button in the bottom right
  • 3Select Log Service from the speed dial menu
  • 4Enter the service type, date, mileage, cost, and any notes
  • 5Toggle Shop Job on if the work was done by a mechanic
  • 6Tap Save

3Logging a Modification

  • 1Open the vehicle detail page
  • 2Tap the Modifications tab at the top
  • 3Tap the blue + button and select Log Service
  • 4Toggle the Modification switch on
  • 5Fill in the details and tap Save

4Logging a Fuel or Charge Session

  • 1Open the vehicle detail page
  • 2Tap the blue + button in the bottom right
  • 3Select Log Fill-Up (gas) or Log Charge (electric)
  • 4Enter the date, mileage, gallons or kWh, and cost
  • 5Tap Save — MPG is calculated automatically

5Adding Items to Your Cabinet

  • 1From the home screen, tap the Cabinet icon
  • 2Tap the + button to add a new item
  • 3Enter the item name, quantity, unit, and cost per unit
  • 4Set a low stock threshold to get alerted when running low
  • 5Tap Save

6Exporting and Backing Up Your Data

  • 1From the home screen, tap the Settings icon
  • 2Tap Export Data
  • 3Choose a destination — iCloud Drive, Files, email, etc.
  • 4Your data is saved as an XLSX spreadsheet
  • 5To restore, go to Settings → Import Data and select your file

7Customizing Your Home Screen

  • 1Tap the Settings icon from the home screen
  • 2Under Appearance, choose System, Light, or Dark mode
  • 3Under Theme, tap Background Color to change the home screen color
  • 4Tap Icon Color to tint the home screen icons any color you want
  • 5Tap Use Custom Photo to set a personal background image
